Do you all swap free patterns? I will frequent Wal-Mart and see what the free pattern is while I browse the remnants. Unfortunately the patterns I am looking for are no longer on the AE Nathan site and they will not send the older patterns out. I am looking for a few but don't want to break the rules on my first day in.
Any suggestions?

I've swapped some but they weren't free patterns. I would assume okay but maybe check a moderator.

Free patterns are often swapped and links to patterns provided. Copyrights are taken seriously, so those are a no-no!

If you're looking for a specific pattern, ask Mr. Google, and he often provides!

You could also post in the buy, sell, trade section.

While copyright law is taken seriously (as it should be), it's my understanding that once you have the pattern, whether it wsa purhased or a free pattern, you can do with it as you wish - as long as you aren't copying it. So if somebody is done with one, you can trade it or give it away.

It is fine to swap patterns here, only copies are not allowed :D:D:D

I would check all the rules first.

I think this is why I bought my camera. To take pictures of quilts. I also like to browse the pictures of quilts available on the QB and net.

Having Electric Quilt makes being able to create much easier too.

Copyrite rules still apply.

Can you tell me the names of the AE Nathan patterns you are looking for? Or what the quilts look like? I have quite a few of the older patterns, but need an idea which ones these are :)
