Like Bev and so many others said, mine is made of carpet BUT, mine also have 4 legs, furry bodies and tails...our 3 foster kitties drag pieces of fabric out of my sewing room daily. With those little guys here it looks like I quilt and mess in every room of the house!

imjustme 06-24-2009 05:46 AM

LOL Too funny

Marynell 06-24-2009 05:51 AM

I have one of those also

Ducky 06-24-2009 06:56 AM

Yep. I also saw the "free". When I opened it up, I said, "Awww, I already have one of those!"

waquilter 06-24-2009 08:20 PM

You got me!

judithb 06-25-2009 07:20 PM

I have one just like this, only a different color! (Does that make it not just like this?) LOL

Turned out she had swallowed some kind of thread and it was wound around in her intestines!

But housekeeping is last on my list!!! It gets done only when the decision is Clean it or Burn it! LOL. Or when company is coming. So I try to invite people over every now and then. Wanna come and sew together? It''ll make me clean my sewing room.

Patrice, you made me laugh out loud!!

Whisker jar? Never heard of that. Maybe whiskey jar! What do you do with the saved whiskers?

Me too! Actually, since he insists on overseeing my every move, I tend to throw all my thread ends and scraps on him as I work.

i have my wicked moments.

Janetlmt 08-10-2010 02:53 AM

LOL...I thought I was going to learn something new....my floor already looks like that. I owned a flower shop and when I was designing an arrangement..you just threw the scrap on the floor and at the end of the day you cleaned up. I do the same in my sewing room. It works!!!!

patricej 08-10-2010 03:09 AM

clean it up? we're supposed to clean it up?

Janetlmt 08-10-2010 04:53 AM

LOL..Patrice...shhhhh..there is a secret to all of it...
I left the mess and when DH would stop in after work...HE would clean it up..
Now we have to train them to clean up the sewing room floor....I don't see that in the stars from DH..he never ventures past the door opening..LOL

MomtoBostonTerriers 08-10-2010 05:01 AM

Patrice, you're a riot!

This reminds me of an old Julia Child show (maybe from the '60s) where she accidentally knocked some food off the cutting table. She did NOT stop to pick it up -- she was filming, after all. Instead, she said in passing, "My self cleaning floor will take care of that." Lots of viewers wrote in to ask where they could buy a "self cleaning floor." I can just imagine Julia's voice now doing that show.

montanablu 08-10-2010 05:12 AM

moonrise 08-10-2010 05:12 AM
