Turned out she had swallowed some kind of thread and it was wound around in her intestines!
But housekeeping is last on my list!!! It gets done only when the decision is Clean it or Burn it! LOL. Or when company is coming. So I try to invite people over every now and then. Wanna come and sew together? It''ll make me clean my sewing room. Patrice, you made me laugh out loud!! |

LOL...I thought I was going to learn something new....my floor already looks like that. I owned a flower shop and when I was designing an arrangement..you just threw the scrap on the floor and at the end of the day you cleaned up. I do the same in my sewing room. It works!!!!
|
clean it up? we're supposed to clean it up?
|
LOL..Patrice...shhhhh..there is a secret to all of it...
I left the mess and when DH would stop in after work...HE would clean it up.. Now we have to train them to clean up the sewing room floor....I don't see that in the stars from DH..he never ventures past the door opening..LOL |
Patrice, you're a riot!
This reminds me of an old Julia Child show (maybe from the '60s) where she accidentally knocked some food off the cutting table. She did NOT stop to pick it up -- she was filming, after all. Instead, she said in passing, "My self cleaning floor will take care of that." Lots of viewers wrote in to ask where they could buy a "self cleaning floor." I can just imagine Julia's voice now doing that show. |
Got me too!! You're good! - or is that ornery??!!!
|
I have one of those! It works very well, too!
In fact, my burgundy rug makes TOO GOOD of a scrap/thread catcher, sometimes! |
OK, you got me too!
|
LOL Do shirts count too? I seem to be wearing a fair amount of thread and scraps on mine!
|
Got me. Had to laugh though.
