FriXion pens
Can anyone tell me what frixion pen you use for quilting. Is it the ball point or the marker? Thank you for any help you can give me.

i use the ball point and just love it. when i go to iron off the marks, the iron does not even touch the fabric before they disappear. i used my black one today and also yesterday.

I use them for all my fabric markings I want to disappear. The trace 'ink' washes away.

I use the ball point and I love, love, love it. Love how it marks and then how it disappears with my iron!

I love my ball point and have several colors. I recently got the bright pink and it really does show on all colors(even black).

So far, I have only used the black ball point. I'm one of those quilters who love them. I also like the fact that cold will bring the markings back. Last year, I made a quilt with embroidered blocks. I traced the design with the Frixion pen. Then I ironed sheer interfacing on the back. That, of course, made my design disappear; but a few minutes in the freezer and the design was back. I use Frixion pens on almost every quilt I make and have had no problem with them.

When I went to my LQS they had a big display of different colors. I have so many things to mark my quilts with, I'm going to hold off unless I get totally frustrated.

I used the marker before I was able to find a ballpoint. Both worked but the ballpoint makes a finer line. I found a website that has Frixion pens in all point sizes and colors. Haven't ordered yet but will probably do so in the future.

I bought a pack of several of the ball point ones at a quilt show, I am very pleased with them because I can use them regardless of fabric color. BTW they weren't even expensive always a plus.
