i'm making a funky cat, but i want to make a cat/dog for the shelter for a fund raiser, don't have any dog fabs though. if someone is hosting, plses let meknow, i can't i don't have a computer, i use the librarys

I will be hosting a Funky Cat swap...it will post in the next week (3-14), depending on how it is recieved, I plan to follow it up with a Funky Dog swap. My rational is to make them for my shelters to raffle off for $$...I hope that folks will make an extra set or 2 so that they can do that too!

Kris, its is what I pm'd you about the other day. It will be a block swap...not fabric...like the funky chicken swap, but cat blocks instead.

I'll have to go check out the funky chicken swap - I remember you PM'ing me but cannot for the life of me remember what the block looked like... I'm off to search now to see if I'm up for joining in on the swap :thumbup:

Dumb question i know but do we make up the pattern ourselves or are their pattern to pick from. Very new to swaps on here so forgive me. But i love cats :)

I'll be posting the opening of the swap on Monday...so stay tuned! But to answer your questiion...I'm trying to round up some links to patterns that you can use, but you will be picking your own, making it up, whatever you like...coloring books are great sources for these patterns...either real paper ones, or on-line coloring pages work great...

You mean that we pick out the pattern, the size of our pattern, and fabric choices? And what is the limit of blocks to send out?
Are blocks being swapped out in return?.......( I know, too many questions, but just wondering here....) Or does it have to include a cat fabric with the pattern used? It does sound like fun, send me a PM with more details please when you have the chance., Thanks! |
