Being young at quilting, and a bit nieve to boot, I couldn’t understand when using the rotary cutter on the last quilt, why I kept getting dusty strands every time I’d make a cut. Taking it apart to clean I found my answer, they had stuck two blades in instead of one. I’m grateful they were so generous (or incompetent) at the factory, I just wish I’d discovered it sooner, the cutting today went so much more smoothly. Also both blades are still in fine shape so I got doubly lucky.

I may be slow on the uptake, but once I get going, look out. Have rotary, will cut!

You scored a bonus, alright Steve! Did you save all those strings too, for a future quilt???

It was more dusted shred than anything you could run a stitch through, so no, but today was a string procurement day for sure. :-)

Good idea, Piney, as long as you don't sneeze while stuffing or cutting.

Yeah, you should have seen the pile of dust when I swept; it was colorful to say the least.
