Mom and I were basting a quilt late last night, being somewhat under the gun to get the quilt done before next Saturday. We were sharing the same spool of thread. I did not realize Mom had one end of the thread, trying to thread a needle with the other end still attached to the spool. I picked up the spool to reel some thread off to re-thread my needle when she started laughing. I asked her what was funny and she held up her needle that she was still trying to thread, not realizing that I had pulled the thread away! We both started laughing so hard, we had tears running down our faces...
