You're right, Cashs_Mom, except there were no instructions so I asked the salesperson if it was the same as Steam a Seam and was told yes.
Regardless, I've got the proper instructions now and it does work that way so I'll use it for this project, but will continue to use S-a-S for my big wall hanging. It sticks better and you can re-position it before you iron it down quite a bit to get things just right. Or, maybe I'm just used to it. Watson |
I haven't used Steam-a-Seam in a while, but when I did, I was told to just press it on the fabric and cut it out. Then use heat to permanently bond the two pieces of fabric together. I never ironed it on the fabric before removing the paper. It does say in the description that its a pressure sensitive web that fuses permanently with heat. IDK

OMG, my reading comprehension sucks. It was always my lowest test score. I know I will be making this mistake, that's how I learn (to my dismay). I am bookmarking this post, for sure!
