I used fusible batting today for the first time to make a qwillow. There doesn't seem to be any loft to it now. It looks like it is layered with maybe fleece. I mean there is no thickness to it that you usually have with batting. Is this right?

The only fusible batting I've used is low loft. It's very thin. If you want more loft in the future, then you're going to have to use a different batting.

Have you washed it. The fusible washes out and makes it softer.

It should fluff up some once washed and dryed, using the iron on it to adhere the fusible flattens it out
