Fusible batting - relaxing
 

I'm going to use Soft n Crafty poly-fuse batting in a crib size for a wall hanging. My question is when you've taken it out of the package how would you "relax" it so that most of the wrinkles will flatten out?

Can you just lay it on a bed and gently smooth out the wrinkles? That would be my first try.

I agree. When you fuse it you will actually be ironing it.

I usually leave my batting draped over the rail of my frame overnight. Sometimes I'll mist it lightly with water, if it's really badly wrinkled.

I put it in my dryer for a few minutes. Works great.

I agree with Peckish that a little mist can help. I usually like to put my backing on my table then loose lay the batting atop it over night. I mist if it is really wrinkled.
