Fusible batting

Used fusible batting for the first time this weekend - didn't like it at all. The "sandwich" didn't want to stay together. Very hard to hand quilt thru. Any time saved by not having to baste is taken up by having to wash the stiff fusing out of the finished project. Any suggestions/comments?

I did not like it inmyquilts, but love it for place mats and table toppers.

I use it for machine quilting quilts, placemats, wallhangings etc. Love Hobbs 80/20 fusible. I use regular batt for hand quilting, more pliable.

yep...use it for place mats and tote bags, but NEVER to hand quilt through..sorry you had to discover this the hard way!

Maybe it was the brand I used. Believe it was June Taylor. BOGO free at Joann Fabrics a couple of weeks ago.

I only use the fusible batting when I make place mats or purses. Sorry you had a problem with it.
