I have a package of brand new HeatnBond Lite, it says low heat activation, no steam required. I follow the directions, my fabric is prewashed with no softeners or dryer sheets. It keeps lifting as it cools! what am I doing wrong? oh yeah, no camera=no pictures :(

Are you trying to make it stick to cotton? Try with hotter iron...maybe your iron is too cool.

When our laminator at work doesn't seal it is because it did not preheat long enough...so I vote for not hot enough as well.

Sounds like you don't have your iron hot enough.
I can set my iron on steam setting without using steam and it works great. |
Fusibles should be a milky color when heated properly. If the fusible is clear and it keeps lifting I've found I've actually OVER heated the product. And unfortunately once that happens I've not been successful getting it to re-adhere. Most fusibles take not much heat to activate and I think that may be your problem Check to see if it's clear or milky on the fabric...clear is bad:<

There have been several of us lately who have had to heat the Heat and Bond longer than normal...don't know why, but we have

I agree not hot enough, and mine is always clear but you can heat to hot and it goes into the fabric...

also make sure you're ironing the appropriate side of the fusible to the fabric.
