The new steams seam 2 works fine. Have you tried misty fuse?

I've never had any trouble with Wonder Under. froggyintexas

My LQS announced they now have it back in stock. Maybe call yours and see if they got any.

I've never had gummy needles with Wonder Under (Pellon 805) and have used it by the 35 yd bolt for many years. I started with Steam-a-Seam2, regular and lite, but it always gummed up my needles so I switched and have never looked back. :)

Steam a seam is available again. I just ordered some from either hancock's of paducah or fabric.com (what can I say-it's a disease, this fabric buying). I don't have my order(s) yet so I haven't tried it yet though.

I had the same problem until I started using Sewer's Aid - a liquid silicone that I bought to held eliminate thread breakage when doing machine embroidery. It seems to work really well for that purpose, but I also rub my machine needle with my fingers with a tiny bit of the silicone on them. After using this product, if I do get any "gum" on the needle it just slides right off so easily. I love this stuff!!
