Fussy cutting

Ok Ladies, I am making a quilt for a friends daughter, and she wants whales, so I need to fussy cut them. I need a large center to the block and the block needs to be 10 1/2". Which block would you use? I also need cutting directions for the blocks or a link to find it. Thank you so much, I knew I could come to you all. Lori

I like attic windows for this

I like the Warm Wishes pattern for larger blocks. Take a scroll down the quilts in the Picture Gallery and see if any of the quilts there catch your eye.

here's one idea......there are lots out there. .... just google "fussy cut" and patiently week through all the hits.

Thank you so much, I am going to use this pattern for my quilt, after the last quilt that had 38 pieces in one block and 40 in the other this looks like a piece of cake. Thanks again.
