I am so frustrated no matter what I try i can't get the center seam to ballance out so that when i open the two peices they lay flat, in other words I have pucker. I have 100 of these seams to sew and its boggling no matter what I do it does not turn out. Any clues would be so helpful, my seams are pressed open as to the directions
Thank you
Sandra

Are you pressing the seams in opposite directions, and nice and flat? :D:D:D

MissSandra 02-09-2011 11:16 AM

all of my seams are pressed open like the directions said

Can you post a photo of the problem? That might help get you more specific fixes.

Try sewing just either side and across this center seam first. Open to make sure it looks like you want, and then sew the whole seam.

stewyscrewy, I like your avatar. Is that a new quilt you just made?
