I am so excited. My MIL who is an avid garage saler (?) just called me and told me she is going to a sale tomorrow in a very nice neighborhood and they have quilting fabric advertised. She asked me a what a good price would be so she could pick me up some!!!! Basically I told her to use her judgement but definitely pick up some Christmas . A lot of times I use the stuff I get at garage sales and rummage sales to "try" out a pattern before using my stash.

What did you give her for a price range? I try to stay under $2 per yard at such sales.
Good thrift shop prices are up to $1 per yard, IMHO.

There is a garage sale near me that advertised "material and sewing supplies". If I can make myself get up, I'm going to check it out.
