Garlic Knot quilt
 

Want to quilt this quickly with my walking foot. Do you have some ideas for me?

Cute quilt! Depending on how big your squares are in the blocks and your batting, which should tell you how close to quilt, I might just do diagonal lines either between your "knots" or right down through the middle of them. If your batting requires closer quilting you could do both. Stitch in the Ditch is always an option but is not quick. Another option might be long rectangles in the white space - but that might not be quick either. I am sure that others will weigh in. Can't wait to see what you do.

You might like offset, concentric circles. Those can be done easily with a walking foot.

Don't have quilting ideas. I think your top turned out very well.

I think I would just do an e2e meander.

If I was doing it I would quilt it on the diagonals both ways through the center of the squares. You should be able to do that without having to mark it. If you baste it really well you can do this with continuous lines by “bouncing” off the side. In other words, when you go across and get to the edge, you continue on at a right angle until you hit the next edge, then do the same thing. I did a lap size quilt this way and did not have to break my stitching once. Hope I have explained this so it is understandable. Love your quilt!

Garlic Knot ! A strange name for a quilt, but it is cute. Just a 16-patch and doesn't look too hard.

I agree with bcsews on quilting the diagonals.
