Has anybody ever bought fabrics by the name "GENERAL FABRICS QUILTERS SPECTACULAR", and if yes how is the quality.
Thanks |
Sorry, no I haven't.
|
Can't say as I have ever heard of them.
|
I found bunch of fabric on ebay
|
Our local $1.99 Fabric Store has General Fabrics. Not sure about the rest of the name. Quality varies. However, i have bought some and worked for the purpose.

I only like to use soft and kind of heavier feel of fabric. For example when i shop at Joann's i like to buy their legacy studio or premium fabrics (they feel so soft and heavy at the same time) just the quality.

I went to Tuesday Morning last night, just for the fat quarters. There were several styles. I did not buy any. The patterns were cute, but I did not think the quality was there.
I have been on a shoe string budget, so I do understand that. It's just that, for all the WORK going into a quilt, I want better fabric. |
Exactly my point. I am really a believer that if i put days of hard effort on something like that...it better last and feel good...lol

What I have seen of it is it is kind of thin. Good for crafts and doll clothes, but IMHO, for quilting, too thin.

Oops, sorry, k
