Anyone going to the Georgia Quilt Show? I have a quilt entered and was just wondering if it placed. It is called Memories. It is pink and has embroidered flowers on it.

They are machine embroidered. I made this quilt in memory of my mother who passed away about a year ago. She loved flowers. I had hoped to get it finished before she died but that didn't happen.

That makes it all the more special. I wish you luck at the show.

Its beautiful. I would expect you to receive a ribbon but you never know with some of the judges! To me it merits a Blue Ribbon.

I was just posting that I was there and I'm so disappointed you didn't win! What a beautiful quilt!!! I especially loved the quilting.

I didn't like that they did have the winners really posted. We never saw the first place winner for the modern quilts. Wish they had them all grouped together so you could see.

Please know my daughter in law and I loved your quilt!!!! And were very impressed with the color, pattern and quilting.
