ok my bernina diead and know i`m able to get a new machine so i`m looking for a all in 1 embrowder sewing anyone now wich is better babylock paffa jomana are should i stick with bernina

I am a Bernina girl. Plus, if you already had a Bernina you already have feet and other accessories I'm sure you can still use. Plus, you are already familiar with Bernina machines.

I would look at different machines. I only make quilts, don't need any fancy stitches.

I have janomes..... A pre loved MC6500 that is the first "proper machine" I've owned and then a 1600p QC.... i love my janomes... Perhaps its because I taught myself to do everything for them... Whereas previously I had to ask my husband to wind a bobbin for my I was so useless with machines.... Perhaps its because they are so easy to use, clean and maintain myself?

The 1600 is a pure straight stitch machine... Fantastic for ALL my quilting... The MC6500 has an alphabet so I CAN make my quilt labels on it....

Or maybe its that cute little rabbit indicating your sritch speed control?

Thye both have thier little foibles... Would you believe the 1600 actually takes a personal dislike to certain threads! And the MC6500 stitches 4 extra stitches when I've taken my foot off the pedal! But we get used to their characters and live them anyway...

Sadly ine has to be sold due to my work situation/injury... Which ever sells first will go and I'll keep the other...

Are you sure you can not repair your bernina? I was told they last forever. I love mine.

Hubby and I are Janome fans we have the 6600p good for sewing and quilting and fancy stitches and lettering and numerical. /needle up/finger button for stitching/large throat/button holes/good for machine quilting. It does not have a free arm.
Janome 11,000 has all these features plus embroidering down load capability,usb/ata card. and a free arm. If I had to buy just one machine it would be the 11,000. but we love both machines.
11,000 goes for about 5,000 the new 12000 goes for around 10,000 not much difference except price

Also check out the 9700 much cheaper around 1,800.00 Good luck.

I have never heard of a Bernina that died. Usually with a good tech. working on it, it can be revived. I am a Bernina girl, and would not recommend anything else, unless cost is a problem, then go with a Brother, they have some good embroidery choices.

Definitely check with the Bernina shop. Depending on how old your bernina is the feet and other accessories may not work. Also if it is one of the older ones they may not be able to get parts. BUT I would defintely check and see if it can be fixed and what it will cost. Then you can make up your mind.
