They are great! Everyone always seems to need potholders so they should sell quickly.

carolynjo 04-13-2017 11:56 AM

How cute are they! I scorch mine when getting items out of the oven or reaching in and starting a little fire. Yours look so good.

Looks like you've got an assembly line worked out...that's a great price and a great pick up gift for anyone. I'm sure your fall boutique does well right before the holidays.

I hope I can attend the quilting boutique. I live in Northern Arizona and try and go to all of the quilt shows that I can. Where is the boutique going to be? Maybe I will be able to meet you as I see you on this QB quite often. Good luck in your selling of your pretty potholders.

LOL. I have started a few little fires myself.

Great job on the potholders. It is a very impressive stack. I am sure they will sell like hotcakes.

Jordan, Our quilting guild is Quail Country quilters and the boutique is Friday the !3 and 14 of Oct. It will be at the middle school on Mingus Ave near the Post Office. I am in charge of the kitchen this yr for the workers and vendors food. If you come just ask where the kitchen is and ask for me. I would love to see you. The quilt show is in the Gym and a building behind that is the boutique.

lyinne I put insubrite and batting and sew around 1/2 inch and leave 3 inches to turn. Then I press and put ribbon hanger in the top and sew around the whole thing 1/4 inch. Then I mark an x and sew that with matching thread. use matching thread on the 1/4 inch around also. I cut them out 9 inches square.

sewingsuz--thank you for letting me know where your quilt and boutique show is but I am not familiar with what town Mingus Ave is located. Hope to meet up with you sometime too.

sewingsuz 04-16-2017 11:12 AM

Jordan, I forgot to tell you I am in Cottonwood.

BrendaK 04-16-2017 01:08 PM

Good luck with selling them all. What do you charge? BrendaK

Thank you Suzanne for the info on your boutique. I am going to try and get some quilting friends together and come to your boutique. Once in awhile we take a day trip and go to Sedona and Cottonwood and hit quilt shops for some new and fun fabrics. We are all from Flagstaff.

Pennyhal 04-18-2017 10:06 AM

Nice looking bunch of hot pads! Are you planning to make anything else? Have you done this boutique before?
