Getting wrinkles out of fabric

I love everything about fabric except trying to get the wrinkles out. I make things that won't be washed, so prefer not to pre-wash my fabrics. I steam, I spritz with water, I iron iron iron til the fabric looks nice and flat. But often within a few minutes the most stubborn wrinkles reappear - perhaps less rigid than before, but there nonetheless.

How do you get rid of wrinkles?

I spray the fabric with wrinkle releaser and toss in dryer. That's how I iron clothes now too. LOL

I'm told vinegar helps but I've never tried it.

I use wrinkle release spray, got it at the dollar store, works great!

I keep a bottle of water with a bit of vinegar in it. Works great to remove those wrinkles.

I use my homemade spray starch for ironing my fabric. On really stubborn creases like the bolt fold line, I sometimes wet the fabric and iron it dry.

I use Niagara non aerosol spray starch or Mary Ellen's Best Press which works a little better but is a lot more expensive ($1.77 for the starch and $9.99 for the Best Press).

Also, you need to iron the fabric and don't move it until it's dry. If you spritz or steam, place the fabric on your board, iron, then DON'T MOVE IT until it's dry and cool.
