Have you used Ghastlies in a quilt? The prints are a bit pricey, but they are so cute and creepy! They remind me of some books my kids used to read, "A Series of Unfortunate Events", or the Adams Family, or Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas" with their sober, Victorian, angry faces that say, "Don't bother me..." a bit macabre. And then there's the kids! OK, somehow, it makes me smile!
What would you make out of these fabrics? the Ghastlies A Ghastlie Night |
I love these fabrics. What a hoot to make a table runner perhaps. I sure would fussy cut them so I could enjoy the scenes,

I have this fabric but with a pinkish mauve background. Have not decided what to make with it, will be interested to see what people come up with. Love the fabric, it's so unusal

I just finished a quilt with them. I bought the orange first and then found the gray. I didn't use a pattern. I just cut out the pictures and added fabric till it was what I liked. Very random. I made it for one of my daughters for her birthday. She loves most anything Tim Burten and these reminded me of his stuff.
What a mess, sorry, I took this picture before I cleaned up. I will take a picture of the finished quilt tomorrow, it in the dryer. |
Yep. I'm an Alexander Henry fan.

I also love the Alexander Henry line and I have all the fabrics in white and gray, I need to make that quilt!
Katia your looks great. |
