That is fantastic! The Giant Dahlia is one of my favorite quilt patterns.

How awesome!! You know I'm a new quilter and I wanted to go check out the quilts at our fair recently, when I first walked in I thought I can't imagine ever wanting to make a quilt and enter it in the state fair like this. By the time I left I was thinking what quilt could I make and submit!!! LOL It was very inspiring! Congratulations!

That's quite an honor! You used my favorite color combination for your Giant Dahlia. Your work looks perfect and you've made some good memories with it!

Yes, it is fun to win in competition at the county fair level but much more fun and exciting when accepted into the State Fair. Congratulation !
