chamby, you can use this thread with any sewing machine.

The only place I know of to get it is here: http://www.bobbincentral.com/glide.html

I'm not sure but you can call or email. They were very quick to respond to my emails.

I've only used Glide since I discovered it. I never have a tension issue with the magna-glide bobbins & the slight glisten of the thread really makes your quilting stand out. When you go to their site, read some of the comments from some of the top quilters. Most all use Glide in their show quilts for that extra pop factor. I love it! And you can't beat the price either.

Glide is my number one choice. I never have an issue with it.
I purchase my at Nolting when they have their annual open house.

I have been using 'so fine' - I hated it for piecing because it slips right out at the end of the joined pieces but I have used so fine and bottom line for machine quilting on my DSM and I thought it worked great. I would prefer sometimes that the line of the quilting show, but not the thread. I have not been happy with the shiny look of that 'invisible thread'.

BellaBoo, which kind did you get? I checked it on Google and there were many types. Thanks.
