glow in the dark thread embroidery also invisible thread

First Embroidery Library has idea - glow in the dark thread says it works on red work, also on embroidery machine.

Sounds interesting but does it work easily and is it really a good glow.

2nd the invisible thread - is one better than another, is it easy or breaks, tangles etc.

Thanks for any information you may have.

I just bought some glow in the dark thread, a total waste of money, it never has glowed, I had it sitting in the west window for 2 days, no glow, then thinking maybe the window uv filter was hindering it, my husband put the spool outside in direct all day sunlight, still no glow.

It did sew well, but I had it in the bobbin, it takes greater care in winding it on the bobbin though.

I just used it to do a quilt as you go on a Halloween table runner. Used it in the top thread. Only thing I did was slowed my machine down otherwise it shredded. I held it up to the light (it was night when I finished) and it glowed. Not sure of the brand.

I use Superior invisible thread and have had great results with it. I have even used it in the bobbin with no problems. You just cannot use it in the top and bottom at the same time...

I've been using YLI Wonder invisible thread (100% nylon) with success. It's a bit stretchy, and troublesome if you have to seam rip, but I haven't experienced problems with breaking or tangling. I use cotton thread (to match my background color) in the bobbin. I did have to do some tension adjustments.

I used the glow in the dark thread to quilt my granddaughters shams 5 years ago. This summer I asked her if they still glowed. Yes they Do! And at age 12 she is moving on to new bedding.

I don't know about the threads, but I've bought fabrics, and 20 yrs later still glowing after going thru all the washes.
I saw those new designs, I love the cat. show us what you do with it.

Hmmm, I remeber buying some but I don't remeber why. That is a mystery. The other mystery is, where is it? Sorry I couldn't be more help but you've just given me something to think about....
