Go in streaks quilting
I find that I go in streaks Quilting. I was at a quilting retreat last weekend and haven't felt like sewing since. I have Quilting days with friends planned next Thursday and Saturday. That willl force me to quilt. What do you do to get started Quilting again?

I do the same. I get busy with gardening or keeping grandkids and don't go near the machine for weeks. Then I can get busy and quilt or piece every day while the mood lasts.

Same here, I'm just coming off a long dry spell. I just waited till I wanted to quilt again. In the meantime, find something else fun to do... garden, read..

I get that feeling from about midnight to 5am! Really, I'll see a new pattern that just begs to be made. That usually does it!

I have to be in the mood to quilt. I'll go in my sewing room to quilt and start and then 5 minutes later, shut everything up and close the door and be done with it. Other days I'll spend the whole day quilting. It just depends on how I feel. I don't know if I have the drive from one day to the next. And I don't work outside the home, so maybe that makes it harder to choose to quilt. I think "I can do it tomorrow" every day. Other people have to work, so they only have so many hours to quilt and they use those hours to quilt. I kind of envy them.
