I am looking for the quilt pattern above. Each circle is put together (backing, batting and top color) and stitched and flipped so all of the raw edges are inside. Then they are attached to one another and part of the edge is flipped back and stitched down; the circle blocks are complete before stitching to the next circle.
If anyone knows the creator of this design, I'd appreciate your help on locating the pattern. |
I have an idea what you are talking about. The back side is all squares and the front resembles an attic window. I have instructions for a tabletop using this technique but I don't know the designer, or the original pattern.

Is this the one you mean?
http://www.connectingthreads.com/tut...agic__D83.html If so, it comes from Brandys. Here is the link: http://www.brandysquiltpatterns.com/index.html |
Sounds really neat but I've never heard of it. I'm interested. =)

That sounds correct. Can you give me the information that you have?

You also might do a search for "faux cathedral windows" on Google, because that sounds like the same technique.

I am in the process ( and have been for about a year) of finishing one. I saw it at a quilt show and it's pretty easy and would be quick if I didn't start (and finish some!)so many others inbetween. I "cheated" and did mine flannel on one side and fleece on the other so I wouldn't need the batting. I do have a book, however, that gives instructions for one-just have to figure out which book! I'll get back to you as soon as I find it.
