I went "Junking" today and found 3 sewing baskets full of supplies. One had nothing but wooden thread spools that still had the thread on them.

I did find something I could not identify. They are sewing machine cams in a blue metal box (5 X 6.5 X 2"H). Inside are 3 rolls of 20 cams for a sewing machine. On the front of the metal tin it says, Pattern Discs. The discs measure about 2" in diameter and about one inch high.

Would any of you know what machine these would fit?
Sorry, I can't attach a picture for you.

Sorry, I have no clue what they are. Will be interesting to find out what you found. I hope someone knows.

Post your question in vintage machines. Someone will recognize them and probably want to buy them if you are interested in selling.

My Dressmaker sewing machine 30 years ago had pattern cams. Believe they were grey plastic ones. Different designs were created by placing a cam on the guide on top of the machine, hidden behind a round lid. Heavy duty all metal machine as I recall.

Quite a few vintage machines used cams. Posting them on the vintage thread is a good idea. Someone will probably be able to identify them for you.

My mama's Kenmore had cams but they were only about 1/4 inch thick. Sorry. Can't help.

I had a White machine years ago. It used cams. All I can remember is that they were gray. I'm sure someone out there needs those cams since they are easily separated from the machine.

Post pic of the cams please. If they are for a Singer 401 I would be interested in buying them.
