I saw this listing on Craigslist for a Good Housekeeping Sewing machine. I contacted the seller, they gave me a serial number 877-TW 14603. They said it is a Deluxe Precision made in Japan. Does this machine look familar to anyone?

Is it a good housekeeper or housekeeping? I just got a good housekeeper that looks similar. What are they asking for it? My cousins wife picked mine up for me for 25.00 but I haven't had a chance to try it since they are in Texas and I'm in California

They are asking $65.

I have had these----they are good workhorses....easy to work on!

I would try it first -

Still sounds like a good price but I agree try it if they will let you. The vintage machines are really sturdy machines.

I see machines like this a lot on CL. I think you should offer lower. They go anywhere from $20-$50 frequently. Unless this is a pristine machine, I'd probably offer $40 and see if they take it.

we have one, it is a good machine, but I wouldn't pay over $25 for one.

Are there heavy machines? Do they use special needles? I am looking for an extra machine to take to classes. I will email them to see if they are willing to accept $40.00.

Don't think you would want to carry it to class. The one I have is pretty heavy
