Janome 1600-DBX quilting machine, NewJoy Gold Standard 10 ft. Quilting Frame (can be assembled at half-size), Quilter’s Cruise Control, accessories, QuarterMaster quilting foot , 50+ bobbins. Paid over $2500. Great condition, machine well maintained and recently cleaned. Loved it so well, I am moving up to a more expensive machine. First $1,100 takes it all. Pay to have 10 quilts quilted and it’s more than paid for! Pictures show system and quilt stitched on machine (quilt not included in sale). Custom shelving made for under frame available, winner make offer.

I am so on the fence about this. I am a very new quilter but I want to learn to do my own quilting rather than send it to a long arm quilter. I know they do beautiful work but I wouldn't feel like I had actually made the quilt.

I'm really afraid I will sink this much money into it and not be able to learn to use it.

This is going to be ok to learn on, but you will probably quickly outgrow the 9" throat space of this machine! It is great if you don't want to do intricate designs like the long arms do. However once you get a full size quilt rolled up on the take up roller you don't have much room to quilt left!

I have the brother 1500 and I LOVE it for doing plain quilting. However I would not pay for a frame and cruise control because it just doesn't have the space to justify it for ME! I am saving for a long arm!
