Good source for charm packs
For Christmas this year I am going to make disappearing 4-patch quilts for the kids and tote bags for the adults all using the 5" charm packs. I am looking for a good source for sites/stores that would carry juvenile type charm packs. I am not that familiar with all the different online shops so thought I would ask you all for some help.
Thanks!! Mindy |
I would look at Missouri Star Quilt Company and also Connecting threads. They usually have some on sale and are great companies to order from.

Greenfairyquilts.com only carries pre cuts. All are on sale with free shipping right now. If nothing else, read her blog to see amazing quilting.

I use missouri star for charm packs and have always been happy.
I agree with Green Fairy quilts. I've shopped there before and have been very happy.
http://www.bugfabric.com/ has a lot of juvenile charm packs, I think.
I was just comparing prices between Missouri Star Quilts and Fabric.com for a Bella Solids 1930's Layer Cake. The fabric was $4.00 cheaper at Missouri Star Quilts.
How about shipping? I think fabric.com gives free shipping at $35 plus there are usually coupons if you spend a certain amt. The smallest is usually a 10% off $40 but I've seen better ones. I admit I've never shopped at Missouri Star. Or if I have I don't remember it.

I have always liked the quality o fabric from MSQC. But, I think you have to buy $100.00 to get free shipping, which is always $5.00. I went to Green Fairy and am in love with a few of the lines I found there! I have shopped online at Bear Quilts, and A Thousand Bolts and had good experiences also. So many choices!

Jenny, MSQC, has a great video on how to make three tote bags from one charm pack. Quick and looks easy.
Also try the Fat Quarter shop................
I'm cheap! I made a box full of my own charm squares with my Accu-quilt Go!
Try bugfabrics.com. I don't know if they have charm packs, but the choice of novelty fabrics is stunning!

I've bought quite a few charm packs from the Missouri Star Quilt Company. They're great to do business with. Love their daily specials.

Greenfairy quilts'; charmpacksplus.com; lots of etsy shops; Missouri Star Quilt Co; craft town fabrics; burgundy buttons; fat quarter shop - and many more - I love Moda pre-cuts and purchase many different collections and love them all.
Try fabric.com or fatquarters.com. They both have great kids fabrics.
