Does anyone have a pattern for a Gordian Knot Quilt Pattern? I've found photos of it online called Endless Knot and Eternity Knot.

Have you searched the board for those names? I've seen some Celtic patterns folks have shown on the board. You may be able to contact them to see where they got their patterns.
Most of the Celtic patterns I found have been from (believe it or not) the stained glass websites. |
I've found some websites that sell the pattern but funds are tight...I was hoping someone had one to share.
|
Everything I've found has been free - I'm not much of one for buying patterns these days, unless it is something I absolutely positively have to do today and I don't have the time or energy to think it through.

Thanks, but none of those are the one I'm looking for. They do look pretty neat though.

Someone said there's a pattern on BlockBase but I don't have that program.

Check quilters cache. I am pretty sure she has one.

I made this one a long time ago just using graph paper:

That is similar but not quite what I'm looking for. I checked the quilters cache site and no pattern. I wonder if it's got another name as well.

If you wanted to take graph paper, I'm sure you could draft one up. Doesn't look to be that hard.

I'm no good at that sort of stuff..I'm just learning to quilt so right now I'd like to stick with patterns

Book by Mary Whitehead has the pattern, book is Titled Gordian Knot
|
It is funny to me that you are interested in the Gordian Knot pattern. I had just been looking in Jinny Beyer's book, The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns: 4050 Pieced Blocks for Quilters, the other day and loved the block. She has it listed as a 21 x 21 grid block. I was so intrigued, I drew it in EQ for drawing practice. It is not so very complex once you break it out.

I found the pattern at www.equiltpatterns.com, titled Endless Knot, cost was $4.95, cheaper that the book

Thank you!

Celtic Knot: FREE Ireland-Themed Quilt Block Pattern which is free. I'm not sure what your pattern looks like. The pattern here is made with sticky bias binding and runs into the shape. my friends and I did a mystery with a quilt shop in New Zealand and it was this pattern
I don't know if there is a published pattern that is pieced, rather than paper-pieced, but we got instructions from the shop in N.Z. |
Do you have any idea where I can get this book "Gordian Knot Patterns for Quilters Plastic Comb <!-- use pre formatted date that complies with legal requirement from media matrix --> – 1993" by Mary Whitehead? I have been trying to find it and am not having any luck. Amazon is out and EBay doesn't seem to have it either.
