I got lost in all the pictures in the search of sunset inspired quilts there are many creative and talented people out there. Definitely one I am going to have to add to my to - do list.

If you were to add another color, you wouldn't want a light background, because the yellows would get lost. Putting a black in for a background would really make the colors pop.
Or, you could do a Yellow Brick Road or Turning Twenty, if you wanted to go simple. Maybe a French Braid Quilt. That would be pretty! |

I'm seeing a lovely bargello!!! I would however move the fabric in the center (light purple with flowers) to the far left of the blues. And come to think of it, the blue 2nd from the left (with the yellow) move to the left of the other blue.

Gorgeous fabric and lots of good suggestions. Be sure and show the finished quilt.

Oh, just lovely fabrics! If you do a bargello, I'd move the middle blue (with pink) to where the blue with yellow is, and the blue/yellow to the end, so the yellow in it flows with the yellow at the beginning (and the blue with pink will flow with the blue with purple). Wonderful palette though. :)

I'm not quite ready for a bargello LOL Would love to, but I want to finish more than one quilt this winter !!!!! (I only have an hour every evening, and 2-3 hours on Sat / Sun). And I need someone to adopt me first!!!
So, I really like the french braid quilts - I have made one already, a very small one with leftover strips ... didn't know that's what it was called!!!! Now I get to spend the next week putting them in an appropriate order ... if you have suggestions, please feel free to post them. Thanks so much for all of the comments, greatly appreciated! Marion |
I would do a Hidden Wells quilt! I found a free tutorial here: http://moosestashquilting.blogspot.c...-tutorial.html

I'd consider pairing them with a plain fabric to make a Disappearing Four Patch (like this one):

Bargello was my first thought, when I first looked at your fabric's. I hope you will share a photo with us when you decide what you plan to do!!
