Got an Eversewn 20

I know it comes up from time to time, people wondering if the machine is good for the price. I bought mine from a quilt shop and the owner threw in the 1/4 inch foot. I tried it out today. It's not noisy, it sews smoothly. It's not my Baby Lock Melody but for the price, I thought it did a good job.

Have you tried out all the features yet? I'm interested in the Eversewns, but can't find out much about them. Are you happy with the purchase?

Haven't had a chance to do anything but straight stitch so far. I was able to try it out before I bought it.

I bought the Eversewn Sparrow 25. It was too tempting to pass up for the price. I have been using it since I bought it. It's sews beautifully. I have a 1 Bernina, 2 Jaonmes, Singer Quantum and Featherweight, and 2 Brothers so I know the comparison of them all. It has a metal frame which is the standard of any quality machine. Some of the very expensive machine do not have a frame.

Eversewn is a U.S. company based in Chicago. They have a business association with Crown Technics LLC also based in Chicago. Crown Technics collaborates with businesses like Eversewn to brand sewing machines and other sewing accessories. It appears that the machines are manufactured in Asia (no further details) with a particular brand name, in this case Eversewn, and distributed under that brand. They distribute heavily throughout Europe. Here is a link to Eversewn information page

http://www.eversewn.com/about-us/. They are metal and apparently pretty good machines. I have never seen or used one. Hope this helps. Enjoy your machine. Sounds like a great buy to me!

Just looking at the Sparrow I think it is probably manufactured by Brother. It is very similar to the Brother Cs1000i computerized machine. Which by the way I own and really like. In my opinion it sounds like a good value and a nice machine. For my money all the whoop-de-do about the $4,000 machines that are updated every year is just too much. Sort of like most of us with our computers. They can do more than most people will ever need or use. Speaking for myself of course!

Eversewn has an embroidery machine too.

Wow, and it's purple. If I didn't already have too many machines I'd get this one!

Actually, it is associated with Bernina as I understand it.
