Yesterday I picked up the floor model arrow olivia. I am in love with it. Having lots of space in the drawers for my tools is perfect. Last night I pieced a lap quilt on it and it's so nice having my machine set into the table. The gap on the back was solved easily with my 6x 24 inch ruler. It's funny because on my old table I used to store it back there because it was in the way otherwise.

I'll post the before and after of my sewing nook. Along with my quilt inspector. My old set up was okay but this is so nice because it's more like furniture. I sew in the corner of my dining room. No sewing room til my kids leave the nest. I'm in no hurry for that.

and I was on Pinterest looking at diy stuff and I'm going to give the chair a re- make and recover the fabric. Should be fun.

Looks really pretty and functional. So glad you were able to come up with an easy solution for the gap.

Nice! Love the inspector - he/she just fits under there!

It looks awesome! Clever way to fill the gap too. Happy quilting!

Oh I missed the inspector! Cute, but lookin' a tad large to fit under the new table!

Sweet! Nice clean set up. I will borrow your ruler storage idea if I may! My table set up has a gap in the back. Great place to keep my ruler handy! Cute fur-baby!

That's a really cute table. Mine has no style at all. :(

One suggestion, though - when the batteries run down on that clock, forget to replace them. Not knowing what time it is can be Very Helpful. :)

hugs,
Charlotte

LOL! Good idea-- it's going to be harder to get to the clock now. And with daylight savings- ohhhh.

The "cute" factor is the reason I was drawn to this table. It's just what I wanted. As you can see it's part of my house so an industial table wouldn't work as well, imo.
