Anyone else here going to the Grand Rapids Quilt Show in Michigan?:) If so, where are you from?

I'm going. I'm in the thumb.

I'm going from the Ann Arbor area

I'm going from Indiana

I will be there 3 days. last year was only 2 days, we decided to add another day. I think we are going to take time to see Meijer Gardens and the Gerald Ford Museum. The museum is just across the bridge from the DeVos center.

My sisters and me are going from Waterford. We may also go to the Art Museum and see the exhibit "Improvisational Quilts of Susana Allen Hunter (1912-2005) that is running now through Aug. 25.

When is it. I just moved back up north from FL, and haven't received any information on it this year. Odd that I got the information while living in FL. but not up here....

The quilt show is Aug. 14-17.

going for 1 night....last year 3 nights but decided shorter this year.... Tawas City

I'm going too!! Went last year and it was great. Our Guild (SW MI) has a bus and we will spend the day on Sat.
Heads up - if you are going to Meijer Garden, plan a full day and good shoes - it is beautiful.
