Absolutely!

Just this morning I started again writing out my next instructions on graph for DD's quilt. Then I log on here and find I have sisters. Great!

I use both Gimp which is a graphic program and graph paper...sometimes the mouse just ain't gonna get it...Think maybe there is something to the muscle memory thing beyond FMQ...the brain seems to understand better when the hand and eye work together to create...don't know if I'm explaining that right. Sometimes I confuse myself...LOL

I use graph paper to design or re-size quilts and blocks, I then make a mock up block of colored construction paper to double check and to figure seam pressing direction

I use it all the time. I use it when I see a pattern I like and use the graph paper to help me figure out how to replicate it. I have lots and lots of sketches with pencil patterns. I keep them in a file box. It simply takes the mystery out of some blocks. I find uses for it so frequently that it occupies a space on my sewing table. Though I am pretty computer savy I have not ventured in the EQ realm.

Thank you for all the responses. I see that I am in wonderful company! :)

Also, thank you for the "graph paper" sites.

Oh Boy!!! Do I ever. Couldn't get a straight line design without it. I am designing a border now that if I didn't have graph paper would look like who knows what. I buy it at least 5 pads at a time. I also use a lot of the easel paper to practice a design for quilting and don't feel like I am wasting all that much paper.

::::::: raising hand ::::::: I love graph paper, for all sorts of things. I also use it to figure out yardage.
