Great to be back quilting!

I hadn't been able to sit at my sewing machine since the first of the year. I had double knee replacement surgery and while I was in the hospital I had new flooring put in so I had to move everything out before my surgery. Then I had to wait until April until I was recovered enough to strip the wallpaper and repaint. I finally have everthing done and am able to quilt again! My first project is a Quilt of Valor that I started last year and then I'll make my grandkids' quilts for Christmas and I'll throw in some quick finish wallhangings and start a quilt or two for me and then........

Sounds like you get to redo your studio. How much fun!! Hope you are getting around okay now and enjoying sewing again. Are you done with your studio yet?

Thanks everyone! I didn't take any sewing to the hospital, but I did have some projects I moved to the first floor of my condo before my surgery so I could work on them during recovery, but I never touched them. Between the pyhiscal therapy, the pain, and the medication I just had not energy to do anything. My sewing room is almost done, just a few things left to find a place for and then I'll post pictures.

Me, too! Now that you have brand-new, store-bought knees, you can quilt up a storm... LOL!
