I was speaking to a woman this past weekend and she was showing me her long arm from the '90s. She that learning to quilt without a stitch regulator isn't that hard. You get the groove and feel for it.

I may not look forward to it but it will be worth it, I know, in the long run. However this fun project just got move to the back of the line as I have 3 other quilts that are requiring my attention first. The first one is the QAYG that I am working on right now. It is almost finished and who knows it should be ready for binding in the next week or so. The second one is the king size quilt for our bed. The 3rd one is a baby quilt for a special baby due in December. Since the parents are not finding out the sex of this child I will be making the quilt in neutral colors and with 'bunnies' or quilted as bunnies. I am going to have to buy fabric (Oh No!) for this last quilt. So as you can tell this quilt that should have been done weeks ago and on hold is now moved to the back of the list <sigh>.</sigh>

I would love to try to freehand without a regulator but not sure at this time I am ready. So for now it is frog stitching while watching tv.
