I've got a few of those gremlins at my house too. And they're still hiding a couple of my Billie Lauder books!

I have the same problem here - however, in my house, I personally know the gremlin - It is a female 3 yr old black greyhound named Money- weighs about 60 lbs - she is like a blackbird - hats, fabric, books, toys, shoes, ribbon, pillows etc - if not nailed down, all make it to her bed in the livingroom. When you finally realized she might have it (after looking for the item for an hr, or so) I will go into the livingroom, & find her on 1 of the doggie beds, looking so pleased at what she has done.

I love the thought of a homing greyhound who collects things. I lose things all the time and only have an old decreped cat who sleeps all the time. I must have a gremlin too.

Did you know that gremlins live in longarmers machines, also?

I hate it when they leave the missing item in the middle of an empty table.

We used to get mail addressed to "Anthony" Nicholson after we moved to our new condo. No one here is named Anthony (our last name IS Nicholson) so now we always blame spooky things on him. Who else could it be?
