Grommets for Quilted Purses

Found a great video on You Tube for making quilted bags from charm squares. Thought I would try it out this weekend. They did not specify what type of grommets that were used so I thought I would ask here for those of you who have made them before. The ones they did use came with a nice template for marking the placement of the grommets on the bag.

Thanks for the help!!

They sound like curtain panel grommets. Depending upon how heavy your fabric is and the type of batt you use you may need to get the ones designed for heavy fabrics or else they will NOT snap together. Ask me how I know :-(

I've used these grommets from Joann's . They just snap together. They come in different sizes and colors. http://www.joann.com/brown-round-gro...prd_10702264a/

Thanks so much!! I checked with my Joann store and they have some in stock. Suppose while I am there I will have to look for more fabric too :-)

Could you share the video for making the bag please.

Here is the link to the You Tube video. It is about 45 minutes long so it make take awhile to load.

I've had trouble with the plastic grommets staying together, so I add a bead of white glue in the groove before I snap them together. Seems to work well
