I really love the grunge fabrics. They have such texture when paired up with anything! My LQS just got in the grunge stars -- it's also very nice! Just have fun with it!

I can't help you with ideas of patterns. Maybe if you google "patterns made with grunge fabrics" some great ideas will inspire you. I just bought some grunge fabric recently to make something for my grandson. It is such a pretty fabric and goes beyond just using solids. Good luck on your search.

I don't often buy pre-cuts, but I really like this version that osewme posted. Thanks!

Thank you again. Gotta finish some other projects, then maybe I can get started. I just love my fabrics.

Here is a grunge pattern https://static.fatquartershop.com/me...pdf/Grunge.pdf
I made a quilt from a layer cake that was very cool. One block was a color surrounded by another, the alternate block was reversed. The blocks were rectangles and arranged staggered like bricks. I made two and have no picture and don't remember the measurements. |
Love the grunge fabrics but have only purchased yardage not precuts. Good luck.

Have not see this particular layer cake but have seen some grunge fabrics. MSQC double slice is a great pattern! I used it with my Bahama Breeze. It’s just cutting and Re sewing. No waste of fabric and you can really show them off...

I've used the Double Slice Layer Cake pattern several times and love it. It would be great done in the grunge dots.

thank you. I also love the double slice. getting lots of ideas. thanks again. do you think this layer cake I have would look okay using the double slice pattern since it's all dots, just different colors?

I hve no suggestion have never used a layer cake, but always interested in everyone's suggestions. Good luck, anxious to see what you decide to do!!!
