It is so intimidating for me, but heck I am going to try it. I didn’t expect to get embroidery since it was too expensive for me, but I got so lucky with my Viking dealer. He had a trade in and gave it to me at an irresistible price as a package. The funny thing with all this excitement I am staring at both machines and I don’t know how to use either one…..so the learning journey starts…….NOW.

Oh how wonderful - enjoy! I have a Bernina 1260 which I love but oh how I would love to upgrade to a Bernina 830 series with embroidery.

Oh so happy for you. Sure do hope your Viking Dealer is much more "customer oriented" than mine is. I've had my machine for 6 weeks and still waiting for the dealer to come out to dial it in, and I have to pay her extra for that

Oh boy! I took a basic Singer in for a repair job 2 years ago and wound up with the most incredible Viking embroidery machine... I have had such fun with it, and you will, too! You have much more courage already, getting a mega quilter, too. Have a ball - it's really so much fun.

Oh wow, sorry to hear that. My dealer is actually amazing. I bought from him 3 machines so far and now shooting for the serger (always gives me freebies with my purchases which i love and appreciate).

Thank you all for your kind words. You are all such awesome and inspiring people (WHO DOESN'T WANNA BE ON THE QUILTING BOARD???????????). My son and I got the mega quilter on the frame and put a couple of old sheets with felt in the middle to practice free motion and it feels great just needs a lot of practice . As for the embroidery i guess i have been so much hyper to touch the embroidery unit but i used the machine for piecing and ahhh it runs so smooth...I LOVE IT.....today i tried the smallest hoop and did a heart embroidery which i messed up little bit since i am clueless of what i am doing  , but the experiments are still on.....will update you once i have something to show....
