As I am talking to my MIL, my daughter (6 yo) looks up at her and says, "Momma made you a quilt for your birthday." My husband and I both said, "Grace, your not supposed to tell that!" To which she replies, "But your finished with it." Gotta love kids, but not tell them anything you want kept a secret!!

What a sweetie; she's so proud of what her momma made!

Only the beginning of what the darlings will tell!

The little ones have a hard time keeping a secret but still she must be proud of her mother to tell you!!!

My little DGD does the same thing. We have learned to tell her the gift is for someone other than the recipient. My Mom would tell how me and my little sister did the same thing. My Daddy bought Mom a sewing machine and we both told Mom. I guess it is my turn now.LOL!!

How cute is that! She definitely thought about it, because she didn't tell until after it was finished. So cute!

Gus used to come home and tell his dad "we got you socks" for Christmas or birthday or whatever.

Cheers, K

So cute! Reminds me of Art Linkletter and his show with kids, they'd tell all kinds of stuff. :D

hello, granddaughter #1! The oldest of the grands will tell any and everything she can wrap her little ears around...especially if she knows it's a SECRET!
She once told a neighbor child, while she and her daddy were walking by her yard, that her mommy thought the neighbor child's mommy was crazy!
Her daddy quickly said, "You know mommy, she is so funny. She calls me crazy too. It's a joke she likes to play."
Little eyes and ears are everywhere... ;) and apparently, little mouths, too! :XD:

Reminds me of a joke I heard.(Hope we are allowed to tell jokes on here?)
This family had their New Pastor over for dinner one evening.
And the Pastor was talking to little Timmy and ask him what he would like to be when he grew up.

Little Timmy said he wasn't sure, but he new he wanted to make a lot of money.Pastor says why is that? Timmy says cause I want to give it all to you.

Pastor said well Timmy how nice of you, but why would you want to do that?

Timmy says"cause mom and dad said you were the poorest preacher they've ever had!"

Yes, they do. And as a primary grades teacher, I can tell you that they DO tell ALL! I had to keep a lot of "secrets." I only wish I had written a journal. Keeping names out, of course.
