I went to JoAnn's yesterday and everything was on sale! 50% off batting... 50% off notions.... and I had a coupon so I bought my first book of Jelly Roll patterns!

Some people have had problems with Joann's but the two in my area are really good. The staff is very nice, helpful, and tend to remember repeat customers. I don't buy their fabric for my "good" quilts but certainly can't complain about their sales and the selection of notions, etc.

yay for you! I was an employee once when hubs thought I needed a job. He has regretted that mandate ever since ;-)
