gunk from fusible webbing on fabric

Unbeknownst to me there was gunk from fusible webbing on my iron which was then transferred to my fabric when I ironed. Does anyone have any ideas on getting it off? There is a layer of thick stiff stuff all over different places on the quilt.
thanks so much,
Yvonne

Sharon Schamber shared a great idea (you can see it on youtube) she uses a soaking wet magic eraser and rubs the hot iron over it. It really is magic and easy

use rubbing alcohol.

You could try using the "magic eraser" on your quilt and see it takes it off. Good Luck!
