Gutermann thread online
Where do you order your Gutermann thread from and what type do you use for quilting?

I use Gutermann thread 90% of the time--I love it and my Juki seems to like it too, and I use it for piecing and quilting. I use their 100% natural cotton, 50 weight. I buy it in the large 3,281 yard cones. I shop around for the best price for the colors I use (usually neutrals, white and black) and find that I usually buy from one of three places: Quilting-Warehouse.com (about $14 per cone), or Overstock.com or Amazon.com (both of which will sell the large cones for $10-12 each if you watch the prices).

I buy these cones of the cotton Gutermann at Joann.com for $10.49. I don't know if it's just on sale when the thread is on sale in the store. 3281 yards is a lot of thread! I wind 10 bobbins at a time. I love the Sandy gray, it's a great neutral.love Joann's,usually free shipping or cheap shipping on holidays!

I don't use Gutermann thread but I've seen it available at Joann Fabrics

I use Gutermann. Was recommended by dealer when I bought my Bernina in 1984. Only thread I use. Generally get at Joanns on sale or with coupon.

Guttermann is the backup thread for my Bernina and I buy it at JAF when it is on sale.
