I have used a wedge cushion on a wooden chair for many years and loved it but unfortunately it is worn out and is squished down - time to replace it.

I am looking around for a new cushion and will take a look at these or at the ones in the sports stores - any more opinions on the pros and cons??

I've bought many different cushions to alleviate my back pain(many injuries over 20 yrs) but the Gypsy Sit Upon is the best. It works like a balance ball (used at Chiropractor's office) but better because it stays put. Best investment I could make for my quilting obsession. Don't hesitate, OLD AGE IS A DEBBIE DOWNER!

Do you use it just in the car and in the house as well?

I had bought the DynaDisc by Exertools [it is the same thing as the Gypsy product only it was much cheaper when I bought mine] years ago to use on my old sewing chair ... and still take it to sew-in's and such. I think you could find something similar in a sports store or sports/fitness website. I like mine because I cna change t he firmness by adjusting how much air is in it.

That thing that turns is awfully hard to sit on for long as far as I am concerned. It is great for transporting someone with a physical handicap where others have to help them get in and out of a vehicle ... but it is hard!
