I have used a wedge cushion on a wooden chair for many years and loved it but unfortunately it is worn out and is squished down - time to replace it.
I am looking around for a new cushion and will take a look at these or at the ones in the sports stores - any more opinions on the pros and cons?? |
I've bought many different cushions to alleviate my back pain(many injuries over 20 yrs) but the Gypsy Sit Upon is the best. It works like a balance ball (used at Chiropractor's office) but better because it stays put. Best investment I could make for my quilting obsession. Don't hesitate, OLD AGE IS A DEBBIE DOWNER!

I had bought the DynaDisc by Exertools [it is the same thing as the Gypsy product only it was much cheaper when I bought mine] years ago to use on my old sewing chair ... and still take it to sew-in's and such. I think you could find something similar in a sports store or sports/fitness website. I like mine because I cna change t he firmness by adjusting how much air is in it.
That thing that turns is awfully hard to sit on for long as far as I am concerned. It is great for transporting someone with a physical handicap where others have to help them get in and out of a vehicle ... but it is hard! ali |
What is that thingy. it look like a flat hat??? looks uncomfortable but thats me
