Pillowcase style sounds great. Learn one skill at a time. You're in no hurry. Every quilt you make will be building on your skills. Pillowcase style looks very nice. I use it a lot on baby quilts or quilts that the kids will drag around. Just topstitch about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch away from the edge. It's a nice look. Have fun.
