I went up to see my my youngest daughter today who lives in Ponca City. I loved the trip it was very relaxing. And we went shopping and found lots of goodies. Since my sewing room is still being redone. I tried to refrain from buying anything else that I can't put in there right now.lol But we both did buy quite a bit of ribbon. She really got into buying ribbon. But it was such a wonderful and relaxing day, I hated to see it come to a end.

daughter days are the best--- who would have thought we fought like cat and dog when she was in her teens guess we both had to grow up

Yes, her and I sure had our struggles. But,somehow it helps when you realize they are adults now and they are responsible for their own actions.lol The hard part is when they are at home and having to live under our rules.lol I am so glad we survived that.lol

My daughter lives in Okla. and I don't get to see her often, but I cherish when she does come to visit. We have so much fun.

My two daughters mean the world to me too....I spent yesterday with my eldest (25 the day before) at a quilting exhibition...and the look of pleasure on her face as she wandered round will stay with me for a long time....we bought far too much ( mainly for her) and laughed so much on the journey home our sides hurt...today we are meeting up and doing some quilt making which she loves.........as for my other daughter I bought her a sewing machine that has never been out of the cupboard, wouldn't know what to do with a sewing needle and thread but when she sings and plays the piano I have that same sense of pride......both very different girls, very different in their outlooks and what they enjoy....but we are all the best of friends and I love them both exactly the same amount.
